To know a language
To be able to express feelings and ideas with other people through words is the greatest human invention yet made.

It means that we can understand, read, speak, write and listen to that language. It means that we have a wide range of vocabulary, we are involved with the country, its people and its history.

ResponderEliminarI agree with all points of view. For me, it's important know a language( for example english, a universal language). When we can speak the same language with other person, as it's stated in the post, we can understand each other and express the feelings, ideas, experiences and we learn, that knowledqe helps us grow as a person.
Knowing a language .. it is interacting with other people, other cultures and personalities. Communication is the best way of expression, be it, gestural or verbal.

In my opinion its very important to know other languages besides our mother language, because it allows us to communicate with others, in order to be more sociable and it also gives us more employment opportunities.
